King County prosecutors Wednesday charged a 17-year-old Kent male teenager with first-degree malicious mischief in connection with an attack of a Metro bus driver Jan. 23 in Tukwila. His charges stem from allegedly breaking windows on the back door of the bus and damaging the door frame.
When the Kentridge and Kentwood basketball teams meet this weekend at the ShoWare Center, the school which brings the most fans to the game will have the opportunity to win $10,000 for their school.

Responding to Roger Hancock’s letter regarding the Democratic Party (“Democrats wield oppressive agenda,” Jan. 16, Kent Reporter.)
A writer on Jan. 16 wrote that the Democrats are oppressive, are socialists, they ignore the Constitution and will turn the health-insurance police loose to drag you from your home if you haven’t paid the premium, not to mention kill Democracy.
