Kent teachers rally at ShoWare Center as strike continues

Sunday began with negotiations between the Kent Education Association and the school district, which failed to resolve the teachers’ strike.

Barnum & Baily circus animals disembark, Kent warns of West Valley HWY traffic

Animals from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus have just disembarked from a train in Renton. The city of Kent is warning of traffic backups on the West Valley Highway for about the next hour.

Elephants will be among the circus animals making their way to the ShoWare Center in a parade Wednesday.
