Attorney General Rob McKenna to speak at ShoWare Center March 16

Members of the business community are invited to a Kent luncheon with State Attorney General Rob McKenna on Friday, March 16 at the ShoWare Center.

Members of the business community are invited to a Kent luncheon with State Attorney General Rob McKenna on Friday, March 16 at the ShoWare Center.

Pacific Printing Industries in partnership with the Kent Chamber of Commerce and Carlson Advisors will present the luncheon with McKenna, a Republican candidate for governor.

The luncheon runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Registration is from 11:30-11:45 a.m., lunch at 11:45 a.m. with McKenna speaking at 12:15 p.m. A question and answer session goes from 1-1:15 p.m.

This is not a fundraising event but an opportunity to learn, ask questions of McKenna and join with others in the region with similar business interests, according to Pacific Printing Industries.

McKenna began his public service career in 1995, winning a seat on the King County Council. He was re-elected twice. In 2004 he won his first race for Attorney General and was re-elected in 2008 with 59.5 percent of the vote.
