For the Reporter

Dr. Roger White, D.C. and his staff celebrate 38 years in business and their second anniversary at Kent Station with Patient Appreciation Day on Saturday.

The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon, is an opportunity for White to thank his patients for their support over the years, as well as kick off a fundraiser for the Kent Food Bank.

White and his staff will collect canned goods and other nonperishable food items through Friday, Nov. 22. The practice, at 417 Ramsay Way, Suite 113, is between Kent Station Family Dentistry and Green River Community College.

In exchange for a nonperishable food item, White and his staff will offer free 10-minute chair massages, chiropractic adjustments and light refreshments on Saturday.

In addition, guests can win gift cards from Kent Station merchants, including Extreme Pita, Dilettante Mocha Café, Cal’s Classic American, Duke’s Chowder House and AMC Theatres.

Patients also could win a cervical pillow, ice packs and other goodies.

“It’s been an honor to serve so many patients and their families over the years,” White said. “I want to take the opportunity to thank them while also doing something good for the community.”

The practice, a 2,000-square-foot office, is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays from 2 to 5 p.m. and Saturday mornings by appointment.

Prior to moving his office to Kent Station in 2011, White worked in Renton for 27 years and Auburn for five.

Kent Station Chiropractic and Massage is a full-service chiropractic office offering a range of chiropractic services including initial consultations, exams and treatment.
