The Family Dog Training Center is having a grand opening July 24 at its new facility at 1515 Central Ave. S., Kent.
Running 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event will feature lots of activities, as well as a chance to tour the facility, meet staff and have refreshments.
The new facility is larger, has two training arenas, state-of-the-art “Everlast” flooring and is climate-controlled.
The center will offer a variety of seminars for free that day, including “Solving Dog Behavior Problems” at 9 a.m.; “Happy Households with Kids ‘n K9s” at 11 a.m. and “Tracking and Nose-Work Games” at 12:15 p.m., among others.
