Curves of Downtown Kent recently relocated to 710 W. Meeker in the historic district, and while the business may have changed locations, their mission hasn’t changed.
“Curves is all about improvement — improving women’s quality of life, self-esteem and even our services. The relocation is an exciting change,” said Carra Purvis, owner of Curves of Downtown Kent.
In recognition of the relocation, the women’s-only fitness facility is hosting an open house Aug. 26 and 27. The first 50 new members can join for 66 percent off.
During the open house there will be complimentary tours of the new facility and opportunities to try out equipment, talk with trainers and try healthy snacks.
Curves’ exercise program consists of 30 minutes of exercise three times a week, during which participants work all major muscle groups and receive a cardio workout. It includes all five components of a complete exercise program: warm-up, strength training, cardio, cool down, and stretching.
