The sixth annual Governor’s Aerospace Summit will run Sept. 14-15 at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
Pat Shanahan, Boeing Co. vice president and general manager of airplane programs for the commercial airplanes division, will give the keynote address at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 15.
The summit is sponsored by the Aerospace Futures Alliance of Washington.
Workshops include Discussion on Quality/Performance Guidelines & Market Outlook; What Can We Do to Secure the Next Generation 737; How Is Our Education System Adapting to Meet our Needs; and Creating and Maintaining a Competitive Edge.
Gov. Chris Gregoire is scheduled to address the summit at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 15.
