Kent Downtown Partnership hosts its inaugural Award Celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at the Kent Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 336 Second Ave., S., Kent.

The free event, according to KDP executive director Barbara Smith, celebrates businesses, property owners and individuals who have given so much to help make historic downtown a great place to work, live, shop and dine and bring family and friends.

“KDP’s effort to vitalize the downtown has been a work of many hands and many people, not just staff and the board,” Smith said.

Awards will recognize those businesses and people who have made exceptional efforts.

To attend, please RSVP by calling 253-813-6976, or emailing info@kentdowntown.org.
