Kent home prices were down 0.6 percent in August compared to the same month in 2013 with a median price of $260,000.
Sales dropped 13.7 percent with 120 homes sold, according to a Sept. 26 report by Redfin, a Seattle-based real estate company. The numbers only reflect transactions on the Multiple Listing Service, a local or regional database of available real estate for sale by member brokers.
The numbers in August compared to August 2013:
• Home prices were down 0.6 percent. The median home price was $260,000
• Median price was $275,218 for single-family homes; $161,950 for condos and townhomes
• Sales were down 13.7 percent with 120 homes sold
• Homes spent a median 25 days on the market
• 35 percent of homes sold above list price
