Kent home prices were up 14.3 percent in May compared to the same month in 2013 with a median price of $264,000.
But sales were off 13.7 percent with 125 homes sold, according to Redfin, a Seattle-based real estate company. The numbers only reflect transactions on the Multiple Listing Service, a local or regional database of available real estate for sale by member brokers.
Here are the numbers in May 2014 compared to May 2013:
• Home prices were up 14.3 percent. he median home price was $264,000.
• The median price for single family homes was $277,325 and $137,000 for condos.
• Sales were down 13.7 percent with 125 homes sold.
• Homes spent a median 17 days on the market.
