Learn about keeping an eye out for crime and protecting your business Thursday.
The Kent Downtown Partnership is sponsoring a community crime-prevention meeting from 9-10 a.m. at Maggie’s on Meeker (307 W. Meeker.)
Officials from the Kent Police Department will be in attendance, to describe how the Block Watch program works for businesses. The meeting is an opportunity to meet with law enforcement and other business owners, to hear about crime statistics and learn about ways to reduce crime.
The meeting is open to all, and free coffee will be provided.
