St. Vincent de Paul thrift store opens in Kent

Mayor Suzette Cooke was on hand April 23 to cut the ribbon at the new Society of St. Vincent de Paul thrift store located at 310 Central Ave. N.

The 16,000-square-foot store is the former home of J.B. Factory Carpets. The new shop is open from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Proceeds are used to help the St. Vincent de Paul Neighbors in Need program. For more information call 253-277-0211.
