Dino has my vote for Congress

Watching the debate between Dino Rossi and Kim Schrier on YouTube was a great help in deciding who I should vote for in the 8th Congressional District race.

In Rossi, I discovered someone who could reach across the aisle and work with representatives from either party as he has done in the past in the state House of Representatives.

In Schrier, I discovered someone who admitted she is part of the “resistance” and would be going back to Washington, D.C., to obstruct or oppose anything coming out of the other party. How exactly does that help our state?

In Rossi, I found someone who is running ads on the issues that concern me as a voter.

In Schrier, I found someone who is running attack ads (as noted in a Seattle Times article) connecting Rossi (guilt by association) to fraud. When asked if she would continue to run these deceptive ads, Schrier responded that she stands behind the ads. I concluded: here’s another politician that will do or say anything to get elected. We already have too many of this type back in Washington, D.C.

I came away ready to cast my vote for Dino Rossi.
