Fans liked new venue for Thunderbirds

We have been season ticket holders for over 20 years. Thirteen members of our family were at the opening game at the ShoWare Center. Everyone of us enjoyed everything about our new home for the T-Birds. We never had to wait in any lines to use the restrooms. We love our seats and had no problems locating them. We experienced some slow service at one of the concession stands, but that could be expected for the first game in a new arena. The food tasted 10 times better than the KeyArena. The parking was FREE and we walked no farther than if we had parked in the KeyArena parking garage. And our car was not broken into, as has happened more than once in the parking garage.

Our hats are off to the City of Kent and the Thunderbird organization. We LOVE our new arena. We look forward to many more years of the best sport in town!!! It will be an awesome place to play in the playoffs.

Go T-Birds!

Nancy and Bob Forrest, Burien
