My friends and neighbors in Kent are fed up with the city of Kent for allowing fireworks. No amount of complaints have made a difference. Who is in their pocket? The destruction it creates – property damage, overtime for police and fire departments, and the stress on homeowners and their pets is insane.
I think the best way to make an impact on the city is to retaliate by voting no on every initiative or measure the city puts on the ballot in the future. I will put out flyers on every door in the neighborhoods as possible.
They won’t do what we want; we won’t do what they want.
