I urge voters to vote no on Proposition A – a new police station – for no other reason than we are not getting the service we are paying for now.
Why should anyone who drives in this city have to risk their lives when entering intersections? The number of drivers running left-hand-turn red lights is totally out of control. The lack of enforcement rests squarely on the shoulders of the Mayor Suzette Cooke and Police Chief Ken Thomas.
For a city that’s trying to figure out a way to tax the air we breath, there are tens of thousands of dollars in traffic fines being ignored.
