Keep columns coming

Yes! I like the new columnist Walter Backstrom.

At age 66 I’m beginning to understand courageous individuals who not only take risks, but comprehend the vast amount of hatred that threatens good men and women to “shut up” out of fear.

I think this learning process causes people of good heart to choose friends carefully and not to be so gullible to believe “everyone is good, God-fearing.”

To be popular, accepted by a majority, may indicate a lack of discernment to challenge, motivate. It’s no crime to be unpopular, vilified, hated or have one’s character demeaned. To be truly free is to walk with God and his saints. More from Mr. Backstrom!
