The Panther Lake grade school, at 108th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 208th Street, has set empty for several years. This is poor property management.
The value of the property is one thing, but while the school district works on that, why not use the property for meetings, teach English as a second language, adult classes, Kent sports programs or rent to religious groups?
There seems to be a number of uses – both money producers and charity – rather than having it sit.
