When you vote in the primary election this Tuesday, please join me in voting for Mary Alice Heuschel as public hospital commissioner. This election is very important because it affects the health of our community and Mary Alice Heuschel is the best candidate for the job.

Valley Medical Center needs a commissioner who will bring a balanced and unbiased approach to the commission, who will lead in the best interest of all citizens in Public Hospital District No. 1, Valley Medical Center. Mary Alice

Heuschel is just that candidate.

Valley Medical Center needs a commissioner with proven leadership and experience managing tax dollars. As a school district superintendent, Mary Alice

Heuschel was selected as the 2011 Washington State Superintendent of the Year for her leadership in improving schools in her district, and she ranked in the top four school superintendents in the nation.

The schools in Mary Alice’s district have greatly improved under her leadership,

and in this election we have the opportunity to bring the same award-winning leadership and level headed stewardship to Valley Medical Center.

Furthermore, Mary Alice oversees a school district budget greater than $100 million and has proven she can manage our tax dollars wisely. Because of the challenging economy, this election is too important to vote for a candidate who doesn’t have experience managing public funds or the ability to serve without bias.

Mary Alice Heuschel is an outstanding leader with financial management experience, is the best and only qualified candidate in this race, and I urge you to vote for her as public hospital commissioner.
