Questionable Sharp is not OK as City Council candidate

So Mr. Ken Sharp, who is running for Kent City Council and got over 40 percent of the primary ballots, is accused of stealing from his mother. His defense is that he planned to pay it back. He hasn't and his mother has been moved to a less desirable location.

Mr. Sharp, that money is not yours. You cannot “borrow” it. That is called theft. As a business man and an “upstanding member of the community” you should already know this. That you do not makes me question your integrity and the integrity of the Kent Chamber of Commerce who have openly supported your candidacy.

To the voters of Kent, wake up. This man is not suitable for Kent City Council. He steals from his mother for crying out loud. If he steals from his mother, he will steal from the city of Kent. Apparently this would be OK with the Kent Chamber of Commerce. It should not be OK with Kent residents.

And besides, he will probably be doing jail time in the near future.
