Random act of kindness appreciated

We read so much about bad things happening these days, it’s nice to be able to report something nice that happened to us last week. On Monday night, Oct. 4, we were at Applebees in Covington for dinner and after we finished our meal our waiter told us our meal had been paid for by the gentleman who had been sitting across from us.

All we could remember about him was that he had a young boy with him. We want to “thank” him and tell him he made four ladies with canes very happy. We vow to “pay it forward.”

Your random act of kindness was very much appreciated.

We are going to get together after we have “paid it forward” and share our stories. I think it is important to give to others, in some small way, especially in these difficult times.
