Saving our kids and honoring our heroes

Happy Fourth of July to everyone! It’s time once again for all True Americans to celebrate the wonderful freedoms we all enjoy. While we’re doing this we all need to keep in mind all of our military folks that will be putting their butts on the line tomarrow while we’re back home here eating fried chicken and drinking a few ice cold pops. God bless and protect each and everyone of these Heroes as well as all of their families that sacrafice so much for all of us.

Speaking of freedoms, just how free are all the children and teenagers growing up in our society right now? Just one week ago a little 10-year-old girl in McCleary, Wash., came up missing while walking home from a friend’s house. She’s still missing, so there’s a very good chance some sexual predator abducted her and God only knows if she’s still alive. Sadly, this same sort of situation is playing out in several of our communities nationwide every week but our community leaders and politicians aren’t doing a d–n thing about it. But they all have plenty of time to worry about gay marriage and protecting the bastard insurance companies that are robbing all Americans blind!

Wouldn’t it be grand if they all could find it in their hearts to implement a basic abduction prevention training program in all of our public schools? Also, we need a federal law that keeps Level 3 Sex Offenders in prison for life without exception.

Going back to our heroes serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, it seems to me that they have become a very low priority in our country these past few months. The national news media has quit giving us weekly updates on how many of our nation’s warriors have been killed in action over in Iraq and Afghanistan.. Plus alot of communities (like North Bend, Washington!) won’t even display an American flag outside of their local community center to remember both our military folks as well as our nation’s veterans. What a shame and what a sham !
