She’s seen mysterious orbs, too

Hello, my name is Karen and I read your article about the strange orb in the photo taken of the family members at the Kent Historical Museum. (“A ghostly orb, or a trick of light?” Page 6, June 4 Kent Reporter.)

Hello, my name is Karen and I read your article about the strange orb in the photo taken of the family members at the Kent Historical Museum.

I, for one, do not need proof that something can exist without explanation.

My husband and I lived in Germany and experienced strange things that opened our minds to the unexplained. We visited a ghost town in Nevada and both felt a presence at the same time in the same location, further strengthening our willingness to have open minds.

What really finalized this were photos taken by my niece the evening of the day of my Mother’s funeral this past July. We had gathered at my adult daughter’s home and a few casual photos were taken of the immediate family relaxing. There were multiple orbs in the photos. The most amazing photo taken was from the next day at the cemetery where a perfect image of my mother (when she was well) was etched out in the dead grass texture to the upper right of her headstone.

My mother had a keen sixth sense herself, and we all felt this was her way to let us know she was in a great place and pleased with how we had sent her off and how much she loved us all.
