Picket signs, apparently prepared on school property, say “no contract, no school.” Of course the teachers voted to strike – it is a win, win, win situation for them. We taxpayers need no contract to conduct school. It is time to stablize the school system.
Terminate all striking teachers. A 100 percent pay adjustment to zero, no meetings and no classes. Hire replacement teachers on individual contracts. Pick only the best of the employees who cross the line to apply. Change the deal to a win, win, lose (job, retirement, health care etc.) Look forward to the future without nit-picking strikes.
