Tea Party voters won’t forget, come November

Is it "just" a flag? Or do actions speak louder than words? It appears that Olympia is right in step with President Barack Hussein Obama who refused to salute our beloved flag at his inauguration! But even this Sept. 11th the flags were half-mast at federal buildings across Olympia. Tea Party swing voters and the vast majority of Americans are still proud to salute our flag and still sing America the Beautiful.

Is it “just” a flag? Or do actions speak louder than words? It appears that Olympia is right in step with President Barack Hussein Obama who refused to salute our beloved flag at his inauguration!

But even this Sept. 11th the flags were half-mast at federal buildings across Olympia. Tea Party swing voters and the vast majority of Americans are still proud to salute our flag and still sing America the Beautiful.

We remember Pearl Harbor and honor the 2,117 who died in that devastating airborne attack from imperialist Japan; most of the dead were in the armed forces.

Radical Muslims themselves claim the Koran is their Constitution; it is their political charter. On Sept. 11, 2001 at least 2,750 civilians died in vicious airborne attacks from Muslim political activists. Among the 911 dead were 343 American firefighters and 60 police, all brave and heroic citizens who along with the rest were murdered with weapons of mass destruction. One hundred eighty-four non-combatant employees died at the Pentagon; and don’t forget the innocent passengers and crews on the civilian airliners. No soldiers were targeted in this most cold-blooded of terrorist attacks in recorded history.

Politicians who lack the sensitivity to remember martyred US citizens and our brave soldiers defending decency and freedom simply deserve to be voted out of office. Even the most crass politician would not forget to fly the flag at half-mast on 911. The buck stops with you Gov. Gregoire – this happened on your watch. To all the politicians who turn a cold shoulder to the the heroes of “the land of the free and the home of the brave,” we pledge to “Remember-in-November.”

You left for China for a big-business trade-mission; and we wish you the best of success. Heaven knows we need the jobs. But pause for a moment and think about the children whose daddies and mommies died in the Twin Towers, and realize they did not to see the State of Washington honor their parents with flags at half-mast this 911. I think it is important to Washingtonians that you to correct this oversight and issue a public statement apologizing to these hurting families and to our heroic Veterans who defend the flag that flies in front of your office back here in Olympia.
