Many thanks to our City Council for their decision to ban fireworks in Kent.
This decision has been a long time in coming, and we appreciate the council’s process of seeking input and listening to the community.
With increased issues concerning public safety and well-being that have continued to multiply each year throughout the decades, this was a responsible and common-sense decision at an appropriate time.
