The first mass “American Idol 2016” auditions will take place in Seattle on Thursday, June 18.
The auditions are part of the bus tour for season 15, according to Americanidolnet.com.
This year the bus auditions tour will hit up 11 cities throughout the U.S., starting off with Seattle and ending in Oxford, Miss., on June 30. With this being the final season of “American Idol,” it’s likely the crowds will be impressive.
Auditions will take place at the Seattle Olympic Sculpture Park, 2901 Western Ave. The auditions will reportedly open up at 7 a.m., according to Seattle Magazine.
Hopefuls looking to audition for “American Idol 2016” must be between 15 and 28 years old. Those under 18 must have a parent or guardian with them at the auditions.
Stefano Langone, a Kentwood High School graduate, finished seventh on “American Idol” in the spring of 2011.
