At the Ridge Theatre (ART) presents one of the best-loved family musicals, “Annie”, for performances in July and August.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. July 30, 31, Aug. 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15; 2 p.m. Aug. 1, 8, 15; and 4 p.m. Aug. 2, 9 at the Kentridge Performing Arts Center, 12430 SE 208th St.
The classic musical is the heartwarming story of a spunky young orphan named Annie’s journey from a rough life in a New York City orphanage to a glamorous life in the home of a billionaire.
“Annie” is filled with humor and heart, and features some of Broadway’s most memorable musical numbers.
Tickets are $10. Proceeds are awarded to the actors in the form of college scholarships.
ART, a nonprofit community theater, celebrates its 15th year, with more than $300,000 in scholarships awarded.
