Fantasia, a rhythm and blues singer who won the American Idol season three competition in 2004, will perform at 8 p.m. March 18 at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
Fantasia headlines the “Love and Laughter” concert that also features R&B singers LeToya Tuckett, a former member of Destiny’s Child; Tank, who once sang background for Ginuwine; and Jeremih, who released his debut single “Birthday Sex,” that peaked at No. 4 on the Billbaord Hot 100 in 2009.
Comedian Joe Torry will host the event. Torry is a former host of the HBO series Def Comedy Jam.
Fantasia won a Grammy Award Feb. 12 for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for “Bittersweet” off of her latest album “Back To Me.”
Tickets are $59, $49, $39 and $29. A limited number of $150 tickets are available and include early entry at 6:30 p.m. to meet the artists, a photo and commemorative gift package.
