Residents took it upon themselves to light up the Harrison House this holiday season.
For the first time, the Kent senior care facility embraced the idea to decorate and light up the outside of the building.
Harrison House donated the money for the tenants to shop and buy decorations and lighting. Management and the King County Housing Authority gave it the OK.
“The residents really enjoyed it this year,” said resident Lynn Hamilton said. “It was wonderful.”
