The Kent-based Rainier Chorale will host “Harvest Moon,” a cabaret, dinner, and silent auction at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at Green River Community College in Auburn.
Boasting the clever styling of artistic director Ron Bayer, the cabaret will feature remarkable soloists accompanied by a jazz band. Guests also can enjoy a delectable dinner including desserts, all with a seasonal twist.
The event is at the GRCC Conference Center, 12401 S.E. 320th St.
Tickets are $65 per person or $480 per table of eight, and are only available in advance. To reserve your tickets, or for additional information, go to www.RainierChorale.org or call 253-347-9307.
Proceeds from the Harvest Moon cabaret and silent auction provide ongoing funding for the Rainier Chorale, as well as funding their annual scholarships awarded to college students pursuing the vocal arts.
The Rainier Chorale is a non-profit community choir, based in South King County since 1983, which is largely funded by donations from the general public.
