The 50th season of the Kent Farmers Market opens Saturday, June 15 and runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday through Sept. 14.
The open-air market is downtown along Second Avenue North between West Smith Street and West Gowe Street. It features produce, food and arts and crafts.
The Kent Lions Club and Living Well Kent are partners in the market that operates rain or shine. Volunteers of the Lions Club and Foundation run the market. This is the 50th season of the market, according to the Kent Lions Club.
The market will not be open July 13 due to the Kent Cornucopia Days festival.
