Kent Parks Deli & Cafe hosts rock ‘n’ roll, bingo fundraiser July 12

The city of Kent Parks Deli & Café will have a rock ‘n’ roll sing-along bingo fundraiser, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, at the Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St.

Residents of all ages are welcome.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m., all who buy a $5 deli lunch ticket may request a set of bingo cards for four games. Seating order is by ticket number beginning at 11:30 a.m. Talbot Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare has contributed gift card prizes valued from $25 to $150.

Andy Burnett will provide a live rock ‘n’ roll prelude as well as sing-along music between bingo games. The menu includes made-to-order sandwiches, tossed green salad, homemade soup, homemade dessert and coffee, tea, milk or iced tea.

All guests will be given the opportunity to invest, and 100 percent of the funds raised will benefit the senior lunch program.
