Quarterback Charles McCullum threw six touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead the Kent Predators to a 55-33 win over the Tri-Cities Fever Sunday at the ShoWare Center.
The Predators won their third consecutive game to improve their record to 3-3 in the Pacific North Division of the professional Indoor Football League.
Kent led 21-7 at halftime on two touchdown passes to Eric Taylor from McCullum and a 4-yard touchdown run by McCullum, who leaped over a defender to reach the end zone.
In the second half, McCullum threw touchdown passes to Taylor, Andre Jordan, Travis Poole and Carlo Heard. Kent defensive back Jeremiah Captain returned an interception 25 yards for a score.
McCullum completed 12 of 18 passes for 198 yards. He rushed 18 times for 61 yards. Taylor had six catches for 104 yards. John Fields led the Predators with two quarterback sacks.
The Predators are in third place in the five-team division, one game behind second-place Fairbanks. Billings leads the division with a 5-1 record.
Kent plays April 24 at the Chicago Slaughter in its first game against a team from outside of the Pacific North Division. Chicago has won two straight games after starting the season 0-3.
The Predators play their next home game April 30 against the Billings Outlaws.
