The Kent Senior Activity Center and Kent Fire Department (FD) co-host the eighth annual FD Cares Wellness Fair on Thursday, Sept. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The fair offers health, housing, insurance, finance and service informational booths, health screenings, fitness class viewing and a fitness center open house with trainer John Pat Dineen.
GoldenCare and Valley Medical Center will provide free flu shots. Farrington Court coordinates the bagged lunch program with many other facilities contributing lunch items.
Lunch tickets will be available for $1, while supplies last, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Proceeds from the fair benefit the Kent Senior Lunch Program.
The senior center is at 600 E. Smith St.
