Ne-Yo, Flo Rida, Carly Rae Jepsen, Icona Pop and DJ Scene won’t be coming to Kent after all.

ShoWare Center officials tweeted Thursday that the Brooke & Jubal’s One Night Stand concert scheduled for May 8 is cancelled.

“We regretfully announce that our One Night Stand concert formerly scheduled for Wednesday, May 8th is cancelled due to scheduling conflicts,” according to the ShoWare Facebook announcement. “We are saddened by this development. Ticket holders will receive a full refund. Credit cards used for purchase will be credited automatically; guests who purchased with cash will need to return the tickets to the ShoWare Box Office for a refund. Sorry for the inconvenience.”

Seattle radio station MOViN 92.5 announced the concert last month and were the promoters of the concert. Brooke and Jubal are DJs from 6-10 a.m. weekdays on 92.5.

Kent city officials were looking forward to the concert featuring chart-topping artists who have produced 17 top-10 songs and seven Grammy victories. City and ShoWare officials are trying to draw more well-known artists in order to cut revenue losses at the city-owned arena.
