Kent Winterfest parade, tree lighting set for Saturday, Dec. 3

Events at Town Square Plaza

The Kent Winterfest tree lighting and parade will be on Saturday, Dec. 3 at Town Square Plaza, the corner of West Smith Street and Second Avenue North.

Winterfest will include community booths from 3 to 6 p.m.; a parade at 4:30 p.m.; several musical performances on the park stage; Santa’s arrival at about 4:45 p.m.; and the tree lighting at 5:30 p.m.

Children may drop off their holiday wish list in Santa’s mailbox. Santa will have cards to fill out on site, if you wish. Include your mailing address if you want Santa to send you a note.
