Ne-Yo, Flo Rida, Carly Rae Jepsen, Icona Pop and DJ Scene are coming to the ShoWare Center in Kent.
Seattle radio station MOViN 92.5 announced Monday the Brooke & Jubal’s One Night Stand concert at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Brooke and Jubal are DJs from 6-10 a.m. weekdays on 92.5.
Tickets are $60 and $40 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at www.showarecenter.com by calling 253-856-6999 and at the ShoWare box office, 625 W. James St.
The chart-topping artists have produced 17 top 10 songs and seven Grammy victories.
Ben Wolters, city economic development director, said the radio station is promoting the concert and the city did not put any money toward the show. City officials have agreed to put money up front to help SMG, which operates the city-owned arena, attract more high-profile concerts.
“Having a radio partner as strong as Movin 92.5 promoting these well known and very established artists will help ensure a very successful and popular show,” Wolters said. “Like all events, this is another at ShoWare that brings significant economic impact to the city of Kent. I am looking forward to it.”
