Parents can take their children to try all types of hands-on projects at the 23rd annual Kids Arts Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 6 at Kent Commons, 525 Fourth Ave. N.
Tickets are $10 per child, who must be accompanied by an adult. Adults and children younger than 2 get in for free. The $10 ticket allows the child to participate in the projects.
Adults are encouraged to bring their children, grandchildren or neighborhood kids to try the arts projects.
The hands-on projects include face painting, making a paper mask, constructing a puppet and other activities.
Lunch, snacks and beverages are available for purchase or families can bring their own food.
The Kids Arts Day is a project of the Kent Arts Commission and the city Parks, Recreation and Community Services department.
