Maple Valley woman advances to Knockouts on ‘The Voice’

Coach Adam Levine picks Lucia Flores-Wiseman, 22, as winner of her battle against teammate

Maple Valley’s Lucia Flores-Wiseman, 22, won her Battle Round Monday night, March 17 on NBC’s “The Voice” to earn a spot in the Knockouts.

Flores-Wiseman went head-to-head with teammate Hayden Grove singing a duet of “My Funny Valentine” by Frank Sinatra.

Coach Adam Levine selected Flores-Wiseman over Grove as the winner of the battle.

“One of the greatest things about your voice is that you balance this stylist thing, and you have this power,” Levine said during the show about Flores-Wiseman. “And to me that’s what like really differentiates you from everybody else that tries to do what you’re doing.”
