Bring or check out American muscle cars of the 1960s and 1970s from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 29 at the sixth annual Muscle Car Madness in Kent to benefit uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
The free-viewing show is at TOP Food & Drug, 26015 104th Ave. S.E.
The show features high-performance cars that were powered by V8 engines and generally considered affordable – from 1960 to 1974. Non-muscle cars are again invited to participate in the show. Awards will be presented in numerous categories based on a car’s year, manufacturer and whether it is stock or modified.
Pre-registration costs $20 per car and includes a T-shirt. Registration forms are available at Kent TOP Food & Drug and by calling 206-878-2152. Businesses interested in booths at the show or offering prizes for the drawings can call the same number to sign up. For photos of previous shows and more information, go to www.musclecars4kids.com.
