The Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra is a unique place where students can excel musically

The Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra performs its Spring Fling Concert at 7 p.m. April 26 at Maple Valley Presbyterian Church, 22659 Sweeney Road SE.

The concert features a happy mix of classical and pops music performed by MVYSO’s Symphony Orchestra, Junior Symphony Orchestra and small ensembles.

For MVYSO, in its sixth season, it is the final “come and hear” concert for the season. Students will move into their summer stock season and prepare for several community-based performances.

Forty-four MVYSO students recently traveled to Disneyland for a performance and workshop. The audience also will be treated to special music they performed at Disneyland and a showing of the video made in their workshop.

A $5 suggested donation is welcomed at the door.

Fountain Court Senior Living in Maple Valley sponsors the concert.

For more information about MVYSO or this concert, visit www.mvyso.org or call 425-358-1640.
