Nickelback, one of Canada’s top rock bands, kicks off the Columbia Bank Concert Series at the Washington State Fair on Sept. 1.
With more than 50 million albums sold worldwide, Nickelback was the best-selling foreign act of the 2000s, second only to the Beatles.
The band signed a new global deal with BMG, it announced last week, and is in the studio working on its ninth album.
Nickelback had 12 consecutive sold-out international tours, won 12 JUNO Awards, two American Music Awards, six Billboard Music Awards and was the World Music Award Recipient for World’s Best-Selling Rock Artist.
