Rainier Youth Choirs’ advanced mixed ensemble, Consonare, is preparing for a performance tour of New York City next summer.
Consonare will participate in the June 2020 Choirs of America Festival with master conductor Andrea Ramsey and guest conductor Doreen Rao. The group will perform at the famed Carnegie Hall, part of the tour.
On June 25, 2020, the members of Rainier Youth Choirs’ Consonare ensemble will board a plane headed for New York City to be dazzled by the sites and to delight audiences.
Sight-seeing opportunities on this tour include Radio City Music Hall, the Empire State Building, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Statue of Liberty, Chelsea Market and even a Broadway show. Consonare has scheduled performances in addition to Carnegie Hall, including Trinity Church and the Intrepid Museum. Numerous informal performances are also planned.
