A new Salsa in the Streets event will be part of the Kent Cornucopia Days.
Salsa in the Streets will go from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 13 at Titus Railroad Park, 238 First Ave. S., in downtown Kent.
Enjoy latin inspired foods, refreshing drinks at the beer garden and vendors, according to the Kent Downtown Partnership. Live salsa music and Santana tribute will be filling the air and transforming the street into a dance floor.
The free event is a feature of the annual weekend long (July 12-14) Kent Cornucopia Days which attracts thousands of local and regional visitors.
Performers include Mambo Cadillac, Flor de Luna, Supersones and Elere Salsa.
The beer garden will feature 23rd Ave Brewery, of Seattle, and 2 Towns Ciderhouse, of Corvallis, Oregon.
