A two-time, Grammy-award winning artist, Bill Harley uses song and story to paint a vibrant picture of growing up, parenting and family life.
Harley will perform at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at the Crystal Mountain Hall at Kent Commons, 525 Fourth Ave. N. The appearance is part of the city of Kent Spotlight Series.
Poignant and hilarious, his work spans the generation gap, reminds us of our common humanity and challenges us to be our very best selves, according to a city of Kent media release. A prolific author and recording artist, Harley is also a regular commentator for NPR’s “All Things Considered” and featured on PBS.
Harley joined the National Storytelling Network’s Circle of Excellence in 2001 and tours nationwide as an author and performing artist. P
