The Rani Arbo and Daisy Mayhem quartet open the city of Kent’s Take-Out Tuesdays free concerts at noon July 12 at the Kent Station Plaza, 417 Ramsay Way.
The quartet’s music is an exuberant mix of country blues, vintage swing, modern songwriter fare, Appalachian fiddle tunes and more.
Concert goers can expect to hear wicked percussion, sublime lead singing, great harmonies, sparkling original songs and a deep repertoire add up to a young, hip string band in love with American music.
Kent Station also offers free “Date Night” Wednesday concerts. The down-home blues band James King and the Southsiders open the series from 6-8 p.m. July 13.
