Issaquah shines this holiday season with dining, shopping, shows and unique experiences

The holidays are coming to Downtown Issaquah, and you’re invited!

Known for its historic charm and vibrant arts scene, Downtown Issaquah is drawing diners, shoppers, and adventure seekers this holiday season. The community offers a blend of unique dining, artisan shopping and cultural experiences, making it a standout destination.

“This is where food becomes art, shopping feels like discovery and one of the region’s premier musical theaters is just steps away,” says Christina Bruning, president of the Downtown Issaquah Association.

The holiday season in Issaquah comes with abundant experiences. Visitors can enjoy dining, shopping for handcrafted gifts or catching a show, followed by immersive activities like glassblowing at Art By Fire, indulging in confections at Boehm’s Candies, exploring global teas at Experience Tea or taking a wine class at Capri Cellars.

“The holidays in Downtown Issaquah have something for everyone,” Bruning says “Our rich arts and culture scene creates a magical backdrop for celebrating the season in all its diverse forms.”

Alison Lang, owner of So, there and curator of the Historic Shell Holiday Shop, said the space will be filled with décor, gifts and stationery from more than 45 local artists and makers, including a many items that have been made in Issaquah.

“Issaquah’s arts scene is truly special, and I’m proud to showcase it at the Holiday Shop,” Lang said. “You won’t find gifts like these anywhere else.”
