A conductor’s job in the orchestra isn’t to stifle sound with an overly strict rhythm, it’s to create a supportive space where every musician has a chance to shine. Staff at Cadence at Kent-Meridian have a similar role in the new senior living community: offering support and structure so every individual feels free, flexible and safe at home.

“Cadence believes caregiving is ‘life without boundaries.’ Whether or not you need a little help with daily routines, you should feel free to live the life you choose — and feel supported in that choice,” says Tracey Harvey of Cadence Living.

With both Independent Living apartments and an Assisted Living program, you can make the move to Cadence and age in place.

“Our well-trained caregivers support your needs with kindness, compassion and expertise. Your personalized service plan is designed to address your individual needs,” Harvey says.

Services at Cadence at Kent-Meridian include:

  • Transportation, appointment and reservation scheduling
  • Housekeeping and laundry services
  • Campus-wide security and 24-hour emergency call response systems
  • Medication monitoring and administration
  • Daily living assistance with bathing

Life without boundaries

“Needing extra help shouldn’t mean giving up your freedom,” Harvey says. “Having flexible supports available means Cadence is also a perfect option for couples, where one person requires more help than the other. Choose the care options that work for you.”

Good health starts with healthy food, and the Encore Culinary Team has four options to engage all the senses. Don’t bump up against the boundaries of a limited menu, or even the limits of your own culinary skill.

Dine in the Tahoma dining room, pop into The Bistro for grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, pastries, snacks and coffee. In the evening, enjoy lounging in the pub with a cocktail before dinner, or reserve the Private Dining Room celebrate with family and friends in an intimate setting.
