For the Kent Reporter
When we think of 105 years old we don’t think of a vibrant, pretty, blue-eyed lady who gives the impression of a witty school girl with a strong love for dancing, family and friends.
Alma Arndt’s birthday last Saturday was not a surprise party. But when she saw all of the people who turned out in a rousing applause and warm hugs, she was overwhelmed with dampened joy.
Alma glowed with her three nieces surrounding her, and her home at Stafford Suites treating her like the princess that she is known to be.
The 1928 graduate of West Seattle High School and resident of Kent danced at her party and graciously accepted the returned love that she has given to others for all of her 105 years.
